ABOUT NAILED TO OBSCURITY:
Hailing from Northern Germany, NAILED TO OBSCURITY have successfully created their own distinctive, progressive style of death doom. Their self-released debut Abyss... (2007) provided the first glimmers of this sound, that they'd go on to develop across their albums Opaque (2013), King Delusion (2017) and Black Frost (2019), which entered the German album charts on #37. Their melancholic songs never fall short of the necessary brutality, creating a dynamic and distinctly mesmerising experience for the listener. Throughout their career, the band have performed at festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze, Bloodstock, Brutal Assault and Party.San Open Air and have toured throughout Europe with the likes of AMORPHIS, SOILWORK, JINJER, DARK TRANQUILLITY, EQUILIBRIUM and LORD OF THE LOST as well as appearing alongside renowned acts such as ARCH ENEMY, PARADISE LOST and AT THE GATES.
