MACHINE HEAD – posten Fotos aus dem Studio!

Robb Flynn, Sänger und Gitarrist der Oakland Metal-Ikonen MACHINE HEAD, hat eine Fotostrecke der aktuellen Studio-Sessions zum kommenden Album der Band veröffentlicht. Die neueste Episode „The Things I See“ im Rahmen von Flynns Blog „The General Journals – Diary Of A Frontman... And Other Ramblings“ gibt es HIER zu sehen.

In der vorherigen Episode namens „The Blackening It Ain't“ vom 30. April, erzählte Flynn Details aus den laufenden Aufnahmen, u.a. dass zwei erste fertiggestellte Songs ('Killers & Kings' und 'Night Of The Long Knives') zum Mix zu Sound-Guru Colin Richardson geschickt wurden. MACHINE HEAD haben erst kürzlich die prestigeträchtige 10“ Vinyl EP »Killers & Kings« veröffentlicht. Die EP enthält die Demoversion des Titeltracks sowie ein Cover des IGNITE-Klassikers 'Bleeding'. “I remember growing up in the thrash scene and always wanting to hear the demo version of songs,” so Sänger/Gitarrist Robb Flynn. “You searched them out. Thankfully my buddy Jim was a big ‘tape trader,’ and through trading we had both METALLICA demos, EXODUS demos, bootlegs of songs sometimes ‘years’ before they came out. I knew how to play every note of »Pleasure Of The Flesh« by EXODUS, easily 2 years before the record was out! My friends and I would debate the merits of each, but we all agreed, It was so much cooler to hear it BEFORE the album is out! So we're gonna do that for you. I can't wait for you guys to hear this stuff."
